The name “Astoria” was inspired by the founders’ life at sea, as they worked on ships and traveled across the world, reaching destinations as far as America during a time when such journeys were truly remarkable.

Those experiences, filled with adventure and meeting people from different cultures, shaped the spirit of Astoria Hotel.
